 Invite to car owners

Trunk or Treat is an event designed to bring the children of the city Downtown to Trick, I mean, Trunk or Treat. All cars are welcome and should park on Michigan Avenue with the trunk of the car facing the center of the street.

We ask the car owners to bring a bucket of candy and place it in your trunk to hand out to the trunk or treaters. Bring a chair and set it up next to your trunk and remember to make the little ones say, "Trunk or Treat."

Also, We urge car owners to come in costume. A contest will be held for best costume with the winner receiveing a spooky prize. The Downtown sound system will be cranking out spooky noises, the Bucky Harris Park will be transformed into a cemetery and Downtown businesses will be asked to stay open.

This event will be going on in conjunction with another scary event: At the same time the Jackson Jaycees will be providing the "Haunted Downtown." The Haunted Downtown consists of guided tours through haunted back alleys ending in the basement of a Vampire's Lair.

(Admission Fee).

The two events together will attract hundreds of halloween lovers and their children to the Downtown. Your particiaption will set the scene for a vibrantly "Haunted Downtown."
